Almost too great.<br /> <br /> We're going to try with the next push to limit the maximum damage to at most no<br /> more <br /> than 1/2 of of a target's maximum hit points at any one shot if the mob is<br /> equal <br /> or higher level than the caster.<br /> <br /> This maximum will be applied *before* damage modifications and critical<br /> modifications <br /> so spell damroll and such will still apply as will positional or other damage<br /> modifiers.<br /> <br /> I know this will be met with a bunch of push back, and I'm sorry that we were <br /> a bit short-sighted.
